Kristina Kočan (1981, Slovenia) is a poet. In 2016, she received a PhD in Contemporary American Poetry. So far, three of her poetry collections have been published, namely Šara (2008), Kolesa in murve (2014) and Šivje (2018). Her debut was nominated for the Best Debut Award.
In 2018 she recorded her first album "im|pro s|prehod" with famous Slovenian jazz musicians.
